Department Of Prosthodontics

Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge is one of the  major clinical departmens of Bhojia dental college  headed by very senior dedicated Principal &  HOD Dr. Tarun Kalra , with is team  of 2  Professor , 4 Readers and 6  senior lecturers. Teaching  of this department  starts the very first year of admission. The department  is having Pre-clincial section to teach and train  1st & 2nd BDS students in the subject of Dental Materials  and Pre-clinical –Prosthodontics and 2 years Dental technician course.


The P.G. Clinic  is having  State-of-Art facilities  wher 5 Post Graduate students per year are trained to treat the cease  with the Maxillofacial Defects, Special Prosthesis  and implants cases along with the routine Prosthodontic procedures. To keep both  teacher and students  well verse on numerous  essential topics, the dept  regularly   organizes various CDE programs   in which stalwarts of  prosthetic  dentistry are invited  to speak on a topic of interest. Various  hands-on courses are also conducted  which allows practical demonstrations of advanced procedures covering conventional dental implants, basal (zygomatic )Implants and esthetics .

The dept also boasts to publish average ten paper per year in  national and international journals of repute.

To enrich the  teaching, well established  Department  Library and  seminar  room have been established as an integral Part of the Department.
