  • Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry is one of the vital clinical department of Bhojia Dental College  and Hospital headed by Dr. Avninder kaur with  her team of 3 Reader and 2 Senior Lectures, all dedicated to the dept, and students.
  • The department  is of paramount importance as it deals with children:  their preventive as well as therapeutic needs are dealt with utmost care .
  • Foundation of good oral hygiene  habits is land down in early years of life.
  • The students are taught and trained in many basic procedures of pre-clinical (carving and basic  wire bending) which  are integral  to clinical as well as preventive dentistry. 
  • It has ample  space for kids play area or waiting room and everything   related to child’s safety is taken care of.
  • Dept. has separate OPD for UG and PG students and fully equipped m with everything  relevant  to their requirements . It has Dept library facility also.
  • The vision of the Department is to train undergraduate and post graduate  students in all the basic procedure like diagnosis and treatment  planning and advanced procedures like pulp therapy procedures, regenerative  procedures, dental  trauma management, interceptive orthodontics and habit breaking appliance and space management.
  • The students are also given the opportunity to participate and conduct research independently.
  • The stress is laid down on preventive and minimal  invasive dentistry  to preserve maximum tooth structure.
  • Time to time, they are updated with the latest by conducting regular CDE Programs by Eminent Speakers are organized by the Department and College in the college  premises. 
  • Post graduate students are encouraged to participate actively in national conferences to upgrade  the curriculum, They are encouraged  to present papers and write for various journals.
  • The ultimate aim of our team is to strive for excellence with maximum exposure to  our students in efficient child patient management in friendly and loving  atmosphere  to remove the fear of dentistry in early tears and build a sound foundation for life.
